Classes
Preschool
8:00 - 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday Our Savior's Lutheran Preschool offers three- and four-year-old children a Christian setting in which to grow, learn, and develop socially, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. This is done through an active, cognitive curriculum with a balance between teacher-directed and child-directed activities. We encourage the hands-on use of material in large-group, small-group, and individual activities. We offer an environment where children can feel successful through the development of self-worth. Kindergarten
Our kindergarten program is all day, every day for students who have turned five by September 1. Students are involved in teacher-directed activities and lessons as well as hands-on individual and group activities. Kindergarteners also participate in weekly chapel and sing-along sessions with the rest of the students. Grades 1-6
Students in grades one through six are arranged in combination classrooms of first and second, third and fourth, and fifth and sixth grades. These combinations allow for cooperation, sharing, and learning at different levels. Along with the regular subject areas, students have daily devotions, religion lessons, music, physical education, technology, art, mission projects, and much more.. More Activities
Kindergarten through sixth grade students participate in annual Christmas and spring musicals, track meets, nursing home visits, and many art and writing opportunities. All of these activities are intended to provide the students with positive Christian social interactions. |
"Since our children started attending Our Savior's Lutheran School, we have gained an extra school community that has become like family. We are so grateful for the relationships that our family can rely on. We have seen our children become confidently rooted in God's word through Jesus time and religion in the classroom each year. Our children can trust that this school is a safe place where they feel seen and deeply loved every day. We cannot possibly put a value on the positive experience that we have gained at Our Savior's." Josh & Katie Brockpahler |
